PHOENIX — This news may put you in a frail state of mind.

British pop rock band The 1975 is coming to Gila River Arena in Glendale on May 5, with indie singer-songwriters Phoebe Bridgers and beabadoobee as openers.

Presales for the show started Wednesday, while tickets go on sale to the public Friday at 9 a.m.

For each ticket sold, $1 will go to One Tree Planted, a nonprofit that aims to fight climate change through reforesting.

The 1975 will be promoting their fourth album, “Notes on a Conditional Form,” expected to drop April 24.

One of the album’s singles, also called “The 1975,” features a monologue from climate activist Greta Thunberg.

The band, formed in England in 2002, was nominated for the best rock song Grammy Award this year for “Give Yourself a Try.”

They were also nominated in 2017 for best boxed or special limited edition package for their third album, “I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware of It.”

The 1975’s hit songs include “Chocolate,” “Somebody Else” and “Love It If We Made It.”

We want to hear from you.
