Missing 14-year-old boy with heart condition safely back home in Chandler

PHOENIX — An East Valley teenager with a heart condition who went missing over the weekend is safely back home, authorities said.

Michael Riggins Jr., 14, returned to his residence in Chandler on his own Monday morning, according to the Chandler Police Department.

Authorities issued a Missing Endangered Person Advisory for Riggins on Sunday morning after he left home the previous night without his heart medication and his cellphone.

No other details about the case were made available.
