Police investigating after body found floating face down in Biltmore-area pond

An investigation is underway after a body was found in a pond at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club in Phoenix, authorities said.

Fire crews responded to reports of a person in the water near 32nd Street and Camelback Road about 9 a.m., according to the Phoenix Fire Department.

After they found an adult floating face down and unresponsive, the investigation was turned over to the Phoenix Police Department.

The police department said there were no signs of foul play.

Investigators are working to make an identification in the case.
