PHOENIX — Fox Restaurant Group will soon open an ungraded version of Blanco, a popular Mexican restaurant chain in Phoenix.
Blanco Reserva, the sixth Blanco restaurant in Arizona, will open on Dec. 13 at the $2 billion redeveloped former Paradise Valley Mall site in Phoenix.
After Flower Child opened its doors earlier this year, Blanco Reserva is one of the first tenants to open at the new development near Tatum Boulevard and Cactus Road.
“The opening of Blanco Reserva at PV marks an exciting milestone for Blanco, bringing a fresh and dynamic new energy to complement the mall redevelopment,” Founder Sam Fox said in a release. “We’ve enjoyed evolving Blanco, staying true to its vibrant Sonoran roots while introducing a more refined and elevated take on the experience guests have come to love.”
The new upscale version of the popular restaurant is inspired by the communal traditions of Spanish ranchos.
What will be on the menu of the new Blanco restaurant?
The Blanco Reserva menu will feature traditional Blanco favorites such as Tiger Shrimp Fajitas, BBQ Pork, Roasted Poblano Chile & Tomato Cheese Crisp and Short Rib Machaca Chimichanga as well as new offerings such as Lobster & Shrimp Fideo, Filet Mignon & Garlic Prawns and Sangria Braised Short Rib.
A new and expanded cocktail menu will also be one of the upgrades the restaurant will receive, in addition to a new bar experience.
Blanco Reserva will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday and from 11a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Happy Hour specials will be offered from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday through Friday.
