PHOENIX — If your idea of a dream home is one filled with cameras that are switched on 24 hours a day and viewed by millions, it’s your lucky day.

“Big Brother” will host auditions for its upcoming 19th season in the Phoenix area this week. The open auditions will be held at Hi Fi Kitchen and Cocktails — located near Scottsdale and Camelback roads in Old Town Scottsdale — on Wednesday between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Anyone who is interested in trying out for the CBS hit simply has to bring an ID to the audition. That’s it! Applicants are required to be 21 or older.

We’re guessing there’s going to be a bit more to the open audition process, but no other details were available.

“Big Brother” became a smash hit when it hit the airways in 2000. The show features a number of contestants known as HouseGuests who live in a custom-built home and are isolated from the outside world — meaning no cellphones, internet or any other contact, save for a family emergency.

Each week, one contestant is sent home. Other contestants vote on who is kicked off the show.

The winner receives $500,000.

All of the drama is captured on dozens of cameras that are placed around the home.

In 2016, “Big Brother” became the first reality show to air exclusively on a streaming platform.
