Trial is set to resume Monday in the second Jodi Arias penalty phase.
A judge’s decision to allow live-tweeting during the Jodi Arias sentencing retrial has provided instant fact sharing from inside the courtroom at the Maricopa County Superior Court.
The new year looked very much like the old one in a certain courtroom in downtown Phoenix — void of jurors and legal maneuvering that resulted in delays.
The retrial was originally scheduled to continue Jan. 5. Instead it was postponed for an evidentiary hearing about release of the transcript of Arias’ secret testimony.
Trial is set to resume Monday, with Judge Sherry Stephens expected to determine whether or not the death penalty will be pulled from consideration.
That could also be the day the transcripts could be released.
The Court does an AMAZING job keeping the public informed of what it is doing in #JodiArias…sarcasm

Are the witnesses refusing to testify on their own or was it heavily suggested to them? #JodiArias

Martinez: I hope #JodiArias isn't saying she lied during the trial and that's why she won't use tape of it now.
