Backstreet Boys bringing it back to Phoenix in October

PHOENIX — They’re back again!

The Backstreet Boys’ 2020 DNA World Tour will be coming to Ak-Chin Pavilion on Oct. 6.

Fan club presale tickets became available Tuesday.

Tickets for the general public will become available online on Friday at noon.

The Backstreet Boys last visited the Valley in September of 2013, according to setlist.fm.

Their tour kicks off Feb. 20 in Mexico City and concludes Oct. 9 in Los Angeles.

The Backstreet Boys originated in 1993 and are the first boy band to top the U.S. charts in three separate decades. They are also the first group since Led Zeppelin to have each of their first 10 albums reach the top 10 on the Billboard 200 list.

That’s largely due to hits such as “I Want it that Way” and “Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely,” which both peaked as the No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 list.

The 8-time Grammy Award nominees have amassed a total of 19 Billboard Hot 100 songs, nine of which found themselves in the top 10.
