AZ Political Podcast: Consultant Matt Kenney breaks down top 2026 election storylines

My first headline — and my second question — on the AZ Political Podcast this week concerned Karrin Taylor Robson already running campaign ads for a gubernatorial election that won’t take place until next year.

But my guest, Matt Kenney of Echo Canyon Consulting, was kind enough to play along as I asked about all things 2026 (political, at least).

Things like:

• Who will win the Republican primary between Robson and current Congressman Andy Biggs?
• Who runs to be Arizona’s first lieutenant governor (will it be the Republican who received the most votes of any statewide candidate in 2022)?
• Which Republican who Donald Trump endorsed in the governor’s race will win: Biggs or Robson? (Because, he endorsed them both.)
