Authorities seek public’s help to find Glendale hit-and-run suspects

PHOENIX — The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is seeking public assistance to find information regarding a fatal hit-and-run that occurred in Glendale on New Year’s Day.

A red 2011-2013 Kia Optima sedan possibly collided with a pedestrian Saturday on El Mirage Road just south of Northern Parkway before 8:10 p.m., according to a press release.

Two other cars, including a gray Nissan, were also involved in the crash but have been found, authorities said Wednesday.

The Kia should have damage to its left headlight, left front fender, left side mirror and the hood, according to the release.

An investigation is ongoing.
