Authorities searching for Avondale bank robbery suspect

PHOENIX — The FBI Violent Crimes Task Force and Avondale Police Department are looking for a man suspected of robbing a bank on Saturday.

According to authorities, a man robbed a Chase bank at 10585 W. Indian School Road around 10:30 a.m.

The suspect went up to the teller and demanded money before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man was wearing glasses, a baseball hat and a black sweater.

No one was injured during the incident.

No other information has been released as the investigation is ongoing.
