PHOENIX — An Arizona State University student was seriously injured after a stunt gone wrong over the weekend, authorities said.

According to ASU police, officers responded to a residential hall early Sunday morning after a student fell from the second floor during an attempted stunt.

Officers provided aid before the student was taken to a nearby hospital.

The department said the student has serious injuries, but they are not considered to be life-threatening.

The incident happened at the Hassayampa Academic Village on the university’s Tempe campus, according to police.

No other details about the stunt and fall were released.
