Arizona’s largest vegan festival coming to Scottsdale this weekend

More than 100 vegan food and beverage vendors will gather in Scottsdale this weekend to show off their meat-, dairy- and egg-free creations.

PHOENIX — More than 100 vegan food and beverage vendors will gather in Scottsdale this weekend to show off their meat-, dairy- and egg-free creations.

The Veg Out! festival will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Scottsdale Waterfront near Camelback and Scottsdale roads.

Besides the opportunity to fill your stomach, the festival will offer vegan-friendly clothing, skin care products and artwork, as well as educational lectures on vegan lifestyles, chef demonstrations and live music.

A portion of the event’s proceeds will go to Zen Nights, a nonprofit that promotes veganism.

One-day passes cost $20 online, while two-day passes cost $30 and include one drink token. Kids 12 and under are free.

VIP tickets for both days are $50 and include two drink tokens and a “swag bag.”
