Arizona’s largest marijuana dispensary extends hours at Guadalupe location to midnight

PHOENIX — Mint Cannabis announced Monday its flagship location in Guadalupe will become the first marijuana dispensary in Arizona to be open until midnight.

People will be able to shop at the dispensary on the southwest corner of Priest Drive and Baseline Road or place an online order for pick up in the drive-thru from 8 a.m. until midnight beginning Friday.

“The Mint is well known for innovation in the cannabis industry, especially when it comes to adding convenience and enhancing the overall shopping experience,” Eivan Shahara, co-founder and CEO of Mint Cannabis, said in the release.

“Expanding our hours of operation in Guadalupe brings the Mint closer to operating like other essential businesses, like pharmacies, to provide medicine to patients and products to customers when they need it the most.”

The Mint Café, which offers freshly made infused food, will also be available until midnight.

The Guadalupe location opened in 2018 and was the nation’s first cannabis kitchen of its kind at the time, the company said. Mint Cannabis has since added a location on the northwest corner of Southern Avenue and Mesa Drive in Mesa and another in Phoenix on the northwest corner of Cave Creek and Bell roads.

The company plans to celebrate its five-year anniversary on Friday as well at each location.

People age 21 and over can enjoy free uninfused tacos from 2 p.m. until midnight at the flagship location, as well as a live DJ starting at 4:20 p.m. and deals and giveaways taking place all day long.

Mint Cannabis’ other locations will have similar celebrations that get underway at noon and go until 8 p.m.
