Arizona Small Business Association launches COVID-19 recovery program

PHOENIX — The Arizona Small Business Association has launched a virtual initiative aimed at helping businesses recover from the coronavirus pandemic.

The program, called Forge Ahead, will give business owners and employees access to personalized online training from leading industry experts to assist in the recovery of revenue and possible repositioning of funds.

The free courses will focus on strengthening financial acumen, developing a social media and digital marketing presence, and networking.

“Small businesses continue to feel the effects of the pandemic,” Jess Roman, association CEO, said in a press release. “As the go-to resource for small businesses, we’re thrilled to deploy Forge Ahead and believe the expert-led, online training will provide the tools that are necessary for small businesses to move forward.”

ASBA partnered with Journeyage, a Phoenix technology company, to develop the program.

Subject matter experts featured in the courses include National Bank of Arizona, moonshot 11 and Joe Polish.

Small business owners can sign up for the courses for time slots through the end of spring.
