Arizona, Michigan attorneys general launching new podcast

PHOENIX — Kris Mayes and Dana Nessel, the attorneys general for Arizona and Michigan, respectively, launched a podcast called “Pantsuits and Lawsuits” to discuss legal challenges going on in the U.S.

The podcast covers topics involving legal cases, state and national policy debates and more. The podcast’s first three episodes are available online on podcast platforms, including Apple and Spotify.

“I am thrilled to be working alongside my friend and colleague Attorney General Mayes as we break down important legal issues in a fun and insightful way,” Nessel said in a press release Friday.

“We want to highlight the real-world impact of the law, and we can’t wait for you to join us for thought-provoking, informative and enjoyable discussions.”

How often will podcast with Arizona, Michigan AG come out?

The podcast will be released biweekly and will feature guests, including legal scholars, policymakers and Arizona and Michigan residents.

“I’m excited to join my friend and colleague Attorney General Nessel as we pull back the curtain on the important work we are doing to protect individual rights and uphold the rule of law,” Mayes said in the release.

“We can’t wait to have real conversations about the law, how it affects everyday people and why it all matters.”
