Apartment fire on 3rd floor unit upgraded due to building size

PHOENIX — Phoenix firefighters are working on putting a fire out in a third floor unit of an apartment in south Phoenix.

Crews were on the scene near Alta Vista Road and Seventh Avenue.

According to a release by the Phoenix Fire Department, the fire was graded as a first alarm due to the size of the building.

No other information was available at this time.
