Annual art and music festival returns to Scottsdale this weekend

PHOENIX — A festival celebrating art, music and more is returning to Scottsdale this weekend.

ArtFest of Scottsdale will be held Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Scottsdale Civic Center Plaza at 75th Street and Indian School Road.

The event will feature contemporary art — including paintings, sculptures and jewelry — from more than 120 artists across the country.

Artists must go through a jury process and be approved by a panel of peers before they can display and sell their work at the festival.

“We’re excited to be one of the Valley’s most popular traditions and to be a part of keeping the artists’ community strong in Scottsdale,” ArtFest owner and organizer Andrew Maguire said in a press release.

“The evolution of art in the Valley and sense of community can truly be seen and felt here, and we are proud to continue a tradition that is so well received by our local residents and visitors alike.”

There will also be a beer and wine garden, kids’ activities, live music on two stages and food from nearby restaurants.

Admission and parking are free, and pets are welcome.
