PHOENIX — Locally owned and operated Angry Crab Shack has opened a new restaurant in Laveen with takeout and delivery options only, according to a press release Tuesday.
Near the intersection of Southern and 35th avenues, the new Laveen location is the company’s 12th restaurant in the state.
The location is open Sunday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Specializing in seafood boils with Asian-Cajun flavors and sauces, Angry Crab Shack also offers seafood-focused appetizers, sandwiches, soups and salads.
The company is hiring at the new restaurant in Laveen and at all locations throughout Arizona, according to the release, with founder Ron Lou saying that Angry Crab Shack has been growing and evolving quickly in the state.
Along with its Arizona locations, Angry Crab Shack also has a restaurant in Orange Beach, Ala., and another coming to Henderson, Nev. later this month.
Angry Crab Shack opened its first location in Mesa in 2013.
