PHOENIX — The passing of Al McCoy is a devastating blow to Suns fans everywhere.

To those of us who had the privilege to know Al, it is even more tragic.

I was blessed to work with Al on 2 separate television commercials. He was amazing and was so very kind to me.

Over the years, we became friends. I loved his stories and his opinions on current events.

I wish all of you had known him like I did. I wish I had known him better.

He sat down with me recently to do this podcast. You will learn about his background, the history of the Phoenix Suns and the Valley. I hope you enjoy it.
