Alaska Airlines adding service from Phoenix to California’s wine country

Alaska Airlines will be adding a non-stop flight between Santa Rosa-Sonoma, California and Phoenix later this year.

The non-stop flight between the Valley and California’s wine country will begin on November 1 and last until April 21, 2027, according to a news release.

The new flight will be available daily on an E175 aircraft.

“Alaska is committed to California, and we’re proud to offer guests across the state even more options for their next vacation or work trip,” Kirsten Amrine, the vice president of network planning and revenue management at Alaska Airlines, said in the release. “Whether you’re in Santa Rosa looking for a winter escape to the snow or sun, or a SoCal traveler looking for a convenient alternative to the region’s busiest airports, this expansion has you covered.”

And if you’re traveling to Santa Rosa-Sonoma for the wine, don’t worry, Alaska Airlines has you covered. The airlines Wine Flies Free program allows Atmos Rewards members to check an entire case (up to 12 bottles) for free.
