Police identify, arrest suspect in Ahwatukee shooting that left 37-year-old man dead

Authorities said Friday they identified and arrested the suspect in a mid-December 2025 Ahwatukee shooting that left a man dead.

PHOENIX — Authorities said Friday they identified the suspect in a mid-December 2025 Ahwatukee shooting that left a man dead.

Phoenix police officers responded to calls of a shooting near 44th Street and Chandler Boulevard shortly after midnight on Dec. 12, 2025.

They found 37-year-old David Martin with at least one gunshot wound, according to police. Martin was pronounced dead on scene.

The Phoenix Police Department announced Friday that the suspect, 49-year-old Keith Farrow, was found and arrested in Massachusetts Tuesday.

Farrow will be extradited to Arizona to face homicide-related charges.

Police said they were assisted in their search by the Massachusetts State Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
