83-year-old Glendale man found safe, Silver Alert canceled

An 83-year-old Glendale man who had been reported missing was found safe after he had a car accident. A Silver Alert was canceled.

Earl Douglas Perdue had left his home near 51st Avenue and Olive Street around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, last seen driving a white Lexus.

Perude, who suffers from Alzheimer’s and dementia, was found after police responded to a minor car collision near 51st Avenue and Thunderbird Road in Phoenix.

When officers checked his name, they discovered he was an active Silver Alert.
