7-year-old dies after being hit by truck in Lake Havasu City, reports say
A 7-year-old child is dead after they were hit by a truck while riding an electric motorcycle on Tuesday at a Lake Havasu City campground, according to ABC15.

PHOENIX — A 7-year-old child is dead after they were hit by a truck while riding an electric motorcycle on Tuesday at a Lake Havasu City campground, according to ABC15.
The TV station reported that the crash happened around 4:45 p.m. and that the driver of the truck, a 72-year-old man, was preparing to turn into a campsite while driving slowly through a campground aisle.
The Lake Havasu City Police Department added that the child was operating an electric motorcycle and attempted pass the truck on the right side when the collision occurred.
The child was taken with life-threatening injuries to Havasu Regional Medical Center and later died.
Police do not believe that impairment was a factor in the crash.
The investigation into the fatal collision is ongoing.
