6 hospitalized, including pregnant woman, after Phoenix rollover wreck

Six people were hospitalized, including four in critical condition, after a rollover wreck in Phoenix on Tuesday, authorities said.

PHOENIX – Six people were hospitalized, including four in critical condition, after a rollover wreck in Phoenix on Tuesday, authorities said.

Two sedans collided near 43rd Avenue and Baseline Road, causing one of them to roll over, according to a Phoenix Fire Department press release. One of the patients had to be extricated.

A 25-year-old woman who is 12 weeks pregnant was among the patients in critical condition, according to the release.

Three other females, ages 40, 24 and 17, were also seriously injured.

A 50-year-old man and a 14-year-old girl were taken to a hospital in stable condition for treatment and evaluation.

No other details were immediately available.
