6 hospitalized after 2 cars catch fire from collision in Phoenix

Six people were hospitalized after two vehicles collided and caught fire in Phoenix late Saturday night, authorities said.

Six people were hospitalized after two vehicles collided and caught fire in Phoenix late Saturday night, authorities said.

According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, three people remain in critical condition as of the morning after the crash. It happened near Cave Creek Road and 12th Street around 11 p.m.

The driver believed to have caused the collision is under investigation for potentially driving while impaired.
