$50,000 Powerball ticket sold at Arizona 7-Eleven store

PHOENIX — One Arizona lottery player who purchased a Powerball ticket became $50,000 richer on Saturday.

According to the Arizona Lottery, the winning ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven in Tucson at the intersection of Columbus and Speedway boulevards.

The winning numbers in Saturday night’s drawing were 18, 21, 40, 53 and 60, and the Powerball was 23.

To win the $50,000, the ticket needed to match four numbers and the Powerball. The odds of winning the prize are one in 913,129.

When is the next Powerball drawing?

Powerball is a nationwide game of chance with drawings on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The jackpot for Monday’s drawing is an estimated $86 million.

Tickets cost $2 each and can be purchased at more than 3,000 locations statewide.

The winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their winnings.

A Powerball ticket purchased from a gas station in Tucson also won $50,000 in last Wednesday’s drawing.
