$50,000 Powerball ticket sold at Mesa Albertsons grocery store

One Mesa lottery player became $50,000 richer following Saturday night's Powerball drawing.

PHOENIX — One Mesa lottery player became $50,000 richer following Saturday night’s Powerball drawing.

The lucky player purchased their ticket at the Albertsons located near Dobson and Baseline roads, according to the Arizona Lottery.

In order to win $50,000, the ticket needed to match four of the five numbers as well as the Powerball.

The winning numbers drawn on Saturday night were 3, 11, 27, 40 and 58 and the Powerball number was 10.

The player has 180 days from the date of drawing to collect their prize.

When is the next Powerball drawing?

Powerball drawings are held every week on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday night.

The estimated jackpot for Wednesday’s Powerball drawing is $320 million.

Tickets for the drawing are $2 and can be purchased from more than 3,000 locations across Arizona.

A Powerball ticket purchased at Safeway in Scottsdale won a player $50,000 at the beginning of the month.
