$50,000 Powerball ticket sold at Arizona 7-Eleven store

PHOENIX — One Arizona lottery player who purchased a Powerball ticket from a 7-Eleven store became $50,000 richer on Monday.

The lucky ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven in Tucson near 29th Street and Columbus Boulevard.

The winning numbers drawn on Monday were 16, 19, 34, 37 and 64. The Powerball number was 22.

To win the $50,000 the player needed to match four of the five umbers as well as the Powerball.

From the date of drawing, they have 180 days to collect their prize.

Powerball drawings take place every week on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday night.

The estimated jackpot for Wednesday’s Powerball drawing is $815 million, which would be the seventh largest jackpot in Powerball history.

Tickets for the drawing can be purchased at more than 3,000 locations around the Grand Canyon state and cost $2.

According to the press release on the winning ticket, Powerball’s national ticket sales saw a 100.93% increase for Monday’s drawing compared to the previous week’s.

Two Powerball tickets purchased from Arizona gas stations won $50,000 each from Saturday’s drawing.
