4-year-old girl found unconscious in pool at Phoenix house

PHOENIX — A 4-year-old girl was fighting for her life after she was pulled from a pool in Phoenix on Thursday afternoon, authorities said.

The child was found unconscious in the pool at an Ahwatukee residence near 48th Street and Ray Road, according to a Phoenix Fire Department press release.

Firefighters transported her to a hospital in critical condition, according to the release.
