3 hospitalized in critical condition following multi-vehicle collision in Phoenix

PHOENIX — Three people were hospitalized Friday evening following a multi-vehicle accident involving three vehicles with one rollover, authorities said.

The incident occurred near 35th and Missouri avenues at about 8 p.m., Phoenix Fire Capt. Scott Douglas said in an email.

Upon arrival, crews established a treatment zone and no extrication was required as all people were able to exit their vehicles, Douglas said.

Two pediatric patients, a boy and girl, as well as one adult woman, were taken to local emergency departments in critical condition. A total of seven people were evaluated at the scene.

No other information was immediately available.
