Three people were arrested after a fight broke out Friday night at a high school football game in west Phoenix, authorities said.

Off-duty deputies with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office were at a game at Sierra Linda High School, located near 67th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road, when around 8:15 p.m. a man caused a disturbance with people who had an existing protective order against him, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

A fight started within the group and the deputies used pepper spray in order to stop it. Phoenix police officers also responded to help.

During the altercation, two suspects assaulted a deputy causing Phoenix officers to use Tasers before arresting them, police said.

Another suspect also allegedly assaulted a Phoenix officer and was subsequently arrested.

Neither the suspects nor law enforcement needed to be taken to a hospital for their injuries.

The investigation into the west Phoenix fight is ongoing.
