2019 Birds Nest lineup features Snoop Dogg, Chainsmokers, country acts

PHOENIX – Snoop Dogg and the Chainsmokers plus two nights of country music will be featured at the 2019 Birds Nest, the nightclub that materializes for four nights a year at the Valley’s PGA Tour event.

The legendary rapper and Grammy-winning pop/dance duo are among 11 acts who will perform at the Waste Management Phoenix Open nightclub at the TPC Scottsdale golf course.

This year’s version of the 21-and-older party place will be open Jan. 30 to Feb. 2 from 3:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The headline acts will start at approximately 6:30 and 8:30 each night.

Tickets went on sale Friday at the Birds Nest website. Prices range from $65 for general admission to $250 for a VIP experience that includes dinner and other perks.

The cost could increase as the event gets closer, the organizers said.

Here is the nightly schedule:

• Wednesday, Jan. 30: Country acts Old Dominion, Midland and Brandon Lay.
• Thursday, Jan. 31: More country with Jake Owen, Lee Brice and Michael Ray.
• Friday, Feb. 1: Heavy hitters Snoop Dogg and the Chainsmokers.
• Saturday, Feb. 2: Electronic dance music with Martin Garrix, DJ Vice and Justin Mylo.

“With such an outstanding lineup this might be one of the strongest and most unique four-night set of concerts we have ever seen at the Coors Light Birds Nest,” Michael Golding, Birds Nest chairman, said in a press release.

The Chainsmokers had been scheduled to appear in Phoenix at the Lost Lake Festival this month, but that event was canceled in June.
