2-year-old boy in extremely critical condition after drowning incident

PHOENIX – A 2-year-old boy was transported to the hospital in extremely critical condition after being pulled from a pool in Phoenix Saturday.

Phoenix Fire responded to the home near the intersection of Happy Valley Road and 43rd Avenue and found the parents of the boy performing CPR on him.

The child was immediately transported to the hospital.

The boy had fallen into the pool and became unresponsive, according to the release.

No other information was immediately available.
