Phoenix police are asking the public to help identify two persons of interest in a fatal shooting that took place last weekend.

PHOENIX — Phoenix police are asking the public to help identify two persons of interest in a fatal shooting that took place last weekend.
Video footage from a surveillance camera near 13th Avenue and Van Buren Street captured two men who police believe could have information about the case, according to a Friday update from the Phoenix Police Department.
Olivaz Tomas Cruz, 34, was the man who died in the fatal shooting last Saturday, police said.
Details on deadly Phoenix shooting
At 8:47 p.m., police responded to calls about a shooting near 15th and Woodland avenues, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Upon arrival, police found Cruz with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he died due to his injuries, police said.
During an investigation, authorities believed two men approached Cruz and got into an argument, which is when the shooting happened.
The investigation remains ongoing.
