2 people dead, 1 injured in drowning incident on Lake Pleasant

PHOENIX — Three people were extracted from Lake Pleasant in a drowning incident that left two people dead on Saturday morning.

The incident occurred near the Waddell Dam where a canoe operated by three people overturned around 10:00 a.m., according to ABC15.

Patrol units performed CPR on at least one of the victims, authorities said. The third person suffered non-life threatening injuries.
