Suspect at large after shooting that left 2 men hospitalized in north Phoenix

Police are still looking for a suspect after a shooting in north Phoenix left two men in the hospital on Monday afternoon, authorities said.

PHOENIX — Police are still looking for a suspect after a shooting in north Phoenix left two men in the hospital on Monday afternoon, authorities said.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers responded to the area of 30th Avenue and Thunderbird Road for reports of a shooting around 2:41 p.m.

When police arrived, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the men was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries while the other was transported with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The person who shot the men fled before police arrived.

Police are investigating what led to the incident.
