1-year-old girl dies after being pulled from Phoenix-area pool
A 1-year-old girl died Tuesday hours after being pulled from a Phoenix-area pool, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said.

PHOENIX — A 1-year-old girl died Tuesday hours after being pulled from a Phoenix-area pool, officials said.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said the deputies were called to a home near 111th and Alabama avenues in Youngtown about 5 p.m.
The girl was found in a backyard pool. Deputies performed CPR on the child before paramedics arrived.
The girl was taken to Phoenix Children’s Hospital in critical condition, where she later died.
Deputies were investigating.

That's scary. A good reason to have a doggie door that only unlocks for the dog collar. It's things like this why I had my son go through swim lessons so young, just as another layer of safety.
Cant charge people for this type of accident. Its sad and unfortunate but this was not intentional.
Crawled through the doggie door to, I'm assuming, an unfenced pool.
