1 dead, 1 hospitalized following domestic dispute in west Phoenix
A woman is dead and a man is in the hospital after a domestic dispute in west Phoenix on Friday evening, authorities said.

PHOENIX — A woman is dead and a man is in the hospital after a domestic dispute in west Phoenix on Friday evening, authorities said.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers responded to the area of 89th and Indianola avenues for reports of a shooting around 5:12 p.m.
When police arrived on scene, they reportedly entered a home and found an adult man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police said both were removed from the home and then taken to the hospital by the Phoenix Fire Department with life-threatening injuries.
Shonda Lynn Pregler, 50, was reportedly pronounced dead at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the man received emergency surgery and Phoenix police said that he is still being treated for his injuries.
According to police, the man has not yet been interviewed.
The investigation into the deadly west Phoenix incident is ongoing.
No other information was provided.
