1 dead, 2 in critical condition after motorcycles collide in Phoenix
One person has died and two were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle accident in Phoenix Friday evening, authorities said.

PHOENIX — One person has died and two were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle accident in Phoenix Friday evening, authorities said.
Firefighters responded to reports of a crash near 38th Avenue and Bethany Home Road around 7:45 p.m. and upon arrival, found an accident involving two motorcycles and three people, Phoenix police Capt. Todd Keller said in a press release.
A woman in her 30s was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition, while a man in his 50s was in critical condition following the accident.
Authorities said the other rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Phoenix Police Department will close the intersection for an unknown amount of time while they conduct an investigation.
No additional information was made available.
