Medical office building under construction at new mixed-use wellness campus in Scottsdale

PHOENIX — Construction has officially begun on the Arizona Sports Medicine Center, a 34,000‑square‑foot medical office building in Scottsdale.

This center is a premier orthopedic group within Abrazo Medical Group, according to a Tuesday announcement from Hammes, a real estate solutions platform.

The Arizona Sports Medicine Center will be the anchor tenant for the upcoming Sierra Bloom mixed‑use wellness campus near 90th Street and the Loop 101 Pima Freeway.

Officials expect it to be completed in the third quarter of 2026. A topping-out ceremony is scheduled for late March.

The Sierra Bloom project marks another significant investment in the region for Hammes.

Hammes Partners Senior Vice President Steve Buckeridge said the company previously completed a 48,000‑square‑foot medical office building in Buckeye in 2024, according to the announcement.

“This project reflects our continued commitment to developing high-quality healthcare environments that support providers and improve patient access to specialized medical services,” Buckeridge said the announcement.

The Arizona Sports Medicine Center will provide imaging, sports medicine and other advanced healthcare needs at the 43-acre Sierra Bloom mixed-use wellness campus.
