New Banner Physical Therapy clinic opens in Gilbert, with focus on sports medicine
A new Banner physical therapy clinic in Gilbert that primarily focuses on sports medicine and sports-specific physical therapy has opened.

PHOENIX — Rehabilitation services are expanding in the East Valley with the recent opening of a new Banner Health physical therapy clinic in Gilbert.
The new clinic primarily focuses on sports medicine and sports-specific physical therapy, according to a Monday announcement from the nonprofit health care system.
It’s located at 355 East Germann Road and is open Mondays through Fridays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
What’s unique about new physical therapy clinic in Gilbert?
Some of the services provided at the clinic include hand therapy, a spine program, sports medicine, concussion rehabilitation and a return-to-work program.
The clinic also offers advanced technology to help patients recover quickly, such as:
- A specialized machine for measuring muscle strength and endurance.
- Force plates that test muscle function and provide movement analysis.
- Wearable sensors that analyze motion for return to sport testing.
It’s not the only Banner Health facility focused on sports medicine. It also provides treatment for athletes at a $54 million, three-story, 80,000-square-foot center in Scottsdale, which sits along Loop 101 at Indian Bend Road/Talking Stick Way, on Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community land.
