PHOENIX – West Valley residents can soon start receiving a wide range of health care services at a new medical facility.
Officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new HonorHealth Medical Campus at Peoria on Wednesday.
The 100,000-square-foot facility is located on 83rd Avenue north of Thunderbird Road, just east of the Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway.
The venue provides a variety of services, including cancer care, primary care, physical therapy, gastroenterology, breast surgery, outpatient surgery and medical imaging.
New HonorHealth campus provides convenience
“Patients will benefit from increased access to specialists and seamless coordination across the care continuum, reducing the need for patients to visit multiple locations,” Todd LaPorte, HonorHealth CEO, said in a press release. “We are excited to bring world-class medical services to the residents of Peoria and the northwest Valley through this new facility.”
Construction started on the new medical campus in November 2023. All of the services are expected to be available by early May.
“This is an important addition to our city on two fronts, as it brings high-quality employment and close-to-home access to a variety of medical care services for our residents,” Mayor Jason Beck said in the release.
HonorHealth is a nonprofit Valley health care network with more than 16,000 team members and 4,000 affiliated providers.
