Karrin Taylor Robson reacts to Donald Trump’s split Arizona governor endorsement

PHOENIX – Karrin Taylor Robson said Thursday it’s an honor be one of the two Republican candidates President Donald Trump is endorsing for Arizona governor.
“I am honored that he reaffirmed what he told me in December from the rally stage when he urged me to run,” Taylor Robson told KTAR News 92.3 FM’s The Mike Broomhead Show. “That’s in large measure why I’m running, to support him.”
During a Dec. 22 speech in Phoenix, Trump, then the president-elect, said he wanted Taylor Robson to be the next Arizona governor.
At the time, no major GOP candidates had declared their intention to run.
When Taylor Robson officially launched her second gubernatorial campaign in February, U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs had already entered the race.
That led to speculation that Trump might rescind his endorsement of Taylor Robson and throw his support to his longtime congressional ally.
What did President Trump say about Arizona governor candidates?
That talk ended on Monday, when Trump announced emphatically that he was endorsing both.
“Two fantastic candidates, two terrific people, two wonderful champions, and it is therefore my Great Honor TO GIVE MY COMPLETE AND TOTAL ENDORSEMENT TO BOTH. Either one will never let you down,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post.
Taylor Robson, who lost to Kari Lake in the 2022 Republican primary, said Thursday she believes voters will decide in 2026 that she is the best candidate to partner with Trump on issues like border security.
“I am proud to be his partner and I’m proud to help him with his agenda here in Arizona,” she said.
Meanwhile, Biggs discussed the shared Trump endorsement with The Mike Broomhead Show on Wednesday.
“I don’t know what my opponent’s relationship with the president is, but I know my relationship with the president is strong,” he said.

DJT knows little about economy or democracy - like always he is first of all an entertainer, will do or say anything for attention like a small child. Has no concept of repercussions as he merrily goes along with the support of his strange cabinet. Our only hope is heavenly intervention.

The average Zonie voter doesn’t think past their next paycheck. As long as they’re able to make it comfortably to the next one while being dazzled by a con man who punishes all the right people they will support him. But as it becomes more and more difficult, let’s see if eliminating DEI and being cruel to the Brown Horde is enough to sustain their support. Most elections turn on the economy.
