Marcos de Niza High School in Tempe was damaged by Wednesday night’s monsoon storm activity, but classes will go on as scheduled Thursday, officials said.

“Due to some storm-related damage, a couple of classrooms will need to be temporarily relocated. We are making the necessary adjustments to ensure all students can continue learning in a safe and supportive environment,” the school said in a Facebook post.

A restoration company is working to clean up the debris, and the auditorium will remain closed until it can be structurally assessed, according to a Tempe Union High School District spokesperson.
