Texas-based synthetic grass company expands its turf into Arizona

PHOENIX – Waterloo Turf, a Texas-based synthetic grass company, is expanding its turf into Arizona with a Scottsdale outpost.

“We have brought on several key franchise partners in Arizona and Texas to provide locals with lush, green lawns that use minimal water,” Tim Lovett, the company’s co-owner and CEO, said in a press release Tuesday.

The business was founded in 2021 and is established in Austin and San Antonio.

The synthetic grass company is mobile, without physical stores, helping keep the investment and overhead costs low for franchisees.

Who is the Scottsdale franchisee for Waterloo Turf?

Sales veteran James Cira is making his first foray into franchising with Waterloo Turf Scottsdale.

“Having 15 years of sales leadership under my belt, I’ve seen the powerful results when successful processes are put in place,” Cira said in the release. “Having the ability to leverage a proven model is what drew me to franchising over starting a business from scratch.”

In addition to the new Arizona presence, Waterloo Turf is planning to start service in Houston and Fort Worth in May.
