UFC, WWE and PBR announce 7 events coming to Phoenix area as part of landmark deal

UFC, WWE and PBR are bringing three major events to the Phoenix area.

TKO Group Holdings, the Arizona Sports & Events Alliance and Legends Global announced Tuesday that Noche UFC, the WWE Royal Rumble and the PBR World Finals will be the first events held under a new multi-year partnership.

The seven-event, three-year deal marks TKO’s first agreement with a state-level organization spanning UFC, WWE, PBR and Zuffa Boxing. Events will be held at Desert Diamond Arena and State Farm Stadium in Glendale.

Noche UFC is set for Sept. 12 at Desert Diamond Arena, featuring a main event between former interim featherweight champion Yair Rodriguez and contender Jean Silva. Former women’s flyweight champion Alexa Grasso will also compete on the card.

Tickets range from $235 to $9,000 VIP packages.

The 40th annual WWE Royal Rumble will follow in February 2027 at State Farm Stadium, marking the venue’s first time hosting the event.

The previously announced PBR World Finals will take place May 20-23, 2027, at Desert Diamond Arena.

“Arizona is proud to be the first state to establish this kind of partnership with TKO,” Gov. Katie Hobbs said in a statement.

Jay Parry, president and CEO of the Arizona Sports & Events Alliance, said hundreds of thousands of visitors are expected to travel to Arizona over the next three years for the events.

Zuffa Boxing, the promotion led by Dana White and Nick Khan, is also part of the deal, though event details have not yet been announced.
