Restaurant concept The Vig to open new location at former Phoenix mall

The Vig restaurant, which is based in Phoenix, is set to open another restaurant in Phoenix, according to officials with the business.

The Vig, a Phoenix-based restaurant concept that first opened in 2006, has signed on to open a new location in the 100-acre revitalization of the former PV Mall.

The new location of The Vig will be the eighth opened by Genuine Concepts, the company behind The Vig and other concepts like The Little Woody, The Womack, The McMillan, Campo Italian Bistro & Bar, and The Genuine.

“The Vig has always been about serving the neighborhood,” Tucker Woodbury, the founder of Genuine Concepts, said in a statement. “We’ve been looking at this area for a long time, so when this opportunity came up to create our own vibrant and totally unique building in the middle of this reborn neighborhood landmark, we jumped on the opportunity.”
