Developer buys land for industrial project in north Scottsdale called The Loop

PHOENIX – A Phoenix-based real estate developer recently purchased land for a new industrial project in north Scottsdale called The Loop.

Creation plans to develop four industrial buildings on the 16.45-acre site just off the Loop 101 Pima Freeway at Princess Drive.

The project will span 267,640 square feet in the Perimeter Center development and have features designed to accommodate industrial showroom, light manufacturing, skilled assembly and distribution tenants.

“With consistently low vacancy rates, a lack of available land sites and aging existing inventory, north Scottsdale is desperately in need of modern industrial buildings,” Grant Kingdon, principal of Creation’s Mountain West Region, said in a press release Monday. “We are eager to bring state-of-the-art facilities that will attract premier employers to this in-demand submarket.”

What other companies are involved in The Loop?

PGIM Real Estate, the real estate investment and financing arm of Prudential Financial Inc., is partnering with Creation on the project.

LGE Design Build will handle architect and construction duties, while JLL will take care of the selling or leasing the buildings.

Construction of The Loop is expected to begin this summer and be completed in late 2026.
