Construction completed on Source Business Center industrial facility in Tempe

PHOENIX – LGE Design Build, a construction firm headquartered in Phoenix, finished construction on a new industrial facility in Tempe, the company announced Monday.

Source Business Center is 144,885 square feet and was built on a 15-acre campus at the southeast corner of Warner Road and Hardy Drive.

“Source Business Center illustrates our commitment to creating industrial buildings that go beyond function alone,” LGE Design Build President Mike Stafford said in a press release. “By pairing efficient construction with a design that considers scale, light and the pedestrian experience, we delivered a flexible, future-ready facility that brings lasting value to both users and the surrounding community.”

The project was developed by Creation and investor CrossHarbor Capital Partners.

Details on completed industrial facility in Tempe

The facility offers a plethora of amenities, including 32-foot clear heights, extensive power and six acres of contiguous yard space for vehicle parking and storage.

Due to the facility’s adjacency to a Union Pacific rail line, the property also features rail spur capability, as well as direct access to Interstate 10 and the Loop 101 Price Freeway.

The building is designed to be able to to accommodate two tenants with two distinct entrances and dedicated parking areas. In total, there are 204 parking spaces, eight of which are for electric vehicle charging.

In terms of the interior, the facility features large glass windows in order to bring in natural light. The building was also designed to reduce heat via its portal-like covered entryways and vertical sun-shading elements at each entrance.

In addition, the facility’s interior is adorned with a desert-inspired color palette to pay homage to the area’s surrounding geography.

LGE Design Build oversaw both the architecture and general contracting for the project.
