Phoenix ranks No. 12 nationally for coworking space after adding 20 locations

A pair of recently released studies show the Phoenix metro is on a tear when it comes to adding new coworking space.

The two analyses — one from coworking management platform Yardi Kube and the other from CoworkingCafe, which also belongs to the Yardi family — differ slightly in their numbers, but they both show Phoenix making a significant jump in coworking space since last year and ranking No. 12 among U.S. metros for its space.

Yardi Kube’s study counted 20 new coworking locations added in Phoenix over the past year to land at 175 total, which was a 13% increase. The analysis from CoworkingCafe put the current count at 177 by the end of the first quarter.

The Yardi Kube number may be smaller because it counted spaces as of January, whereas CoworkingCafe counted through the end of the first quarter.

Both studies measured the total space in the Phoenix metro to be about 3.4 million square feet, which Yardi Kube said amounted to a 17% increase since Q1 2025.
